Tracking Piston Filling Machine Workflow
1.Preparation and Suction
Empty bottles are automatically positioned, and the filling head aligns with the bottle mouth. The piston moves upward to draw the product from the storage tank into the cylinder, accurately measuring the required volume for each bottle.
2.Dynamic Tracking Filling
As bottles move steadily along the conveyor:
- The filling head descends into the bottle mouth.
- The piston pushes the product into the bottle.
- The filling head, controlled by a servo system, continuously tracks the bottle’s movement, achieving “synchronized filling.”
- During the entire process, the nozzle maintains a small, consistent distance from the liquid surface, keeping the fill level even and preventing overflow or foam.
3.Completion and Retraction
Once the preset volume is reached, filling stops, the nozzle closes, and quickly retracts, ready for the next bottle.
Differences from Other Piston Filling Machines
Conventional Fixed Piston Filling Machine:
Bottles must stop under the filling nozzle during filling, and the filling head does not move. The speed is relatively slow, and it is prone to foam formation or dripping.
Submersible (Immersion) Piston Filling Machine:
The nozzle is inserted to the bottom of the bottle and rises slowly as the liquid level increases. Suitable for products that foam easily, but the speed is limited, and there is a potential risk of contaminating the bottle mouth.
Tracking Piston Filling Machine:
Combines the advantages of high-speed moving filling and foam prevention, making it the preferred choice for high-precision, high-speed, and high-demand filling applications.
